Channel & Digital Architect

Job Purpose:

The key purpose of the role is to have a domain lead responsible for the overall channels’ architecture, covering assisted and unassisted channels.

The person taking on the role is expected to have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the digital technology such as Web, Mobile Apps, CMS, CDN, API Gateways as well as channel front- & back-end technologies required to architect all channels, such as:

• retail [stores], POS, dealers, agent call center, kiosks

• mobile app, e-shop and self-service management,

• social media


Technical Skills:

• Development experience such as Java, Scala, Python, Spring, Angular, HTML5, CSS3

• Any: ecommerce (hybris, etc), Selfservice (oracle WCS), omni-channel (SAP/Netcracker/qvantel/ Oracle/Dynacommerce, cerillion), Mobile App development (iOS, Android), API Management Platform (e.g. Mulesfot, Dell Boomi, Oracle Fusion, MS Biztalk, Google/Apigee, Software AG, AWS Gateway, IBM API Connect)

• BSS applications & integration experience: CRM, CPC, COM, CPQ

• CMS platforms: Drupal, Oracle, Liferay

• Mobile web (adaptive, responsive), Progressive Web App, mobile app (native, hybrid), APIs (RESTful/OData/JSON) and API design

• High tolerance for ambiguity – Have the ability to operate with flexibility in an uncertain environment, with multiple demands and be able to assess and evaluate the range of options that should be considered

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. Computing)

• Technical certifications especially in vendor products is highly advantageous

• 10 to 15 years’ total work experience, with knowledge and experience in ICT, Telecom, and/or Tech professional services - B2B sector(s) preferred

• Experience of other sectors such as Digital banking/Fintech; Digital retail experience is highly desirable

• Identifying technology solutions to expand the channel footprint and penetration rate for unassisted and partner channels is of prime importance and the candidate is expected to have relevant cutting edge technology knowledge and experience in architecting such solutions

• Digital transformation – must have worked on legacy to ‘new era /digital’ transformation; including scoping MVP and MVA [minimum viable architecture]

• Proven experience in delivering solutions that are driving customer engagement, penetration and revenue on digital channels
