The Section Head will be responsible for managing all aspects of facilities and public services across the Academy. This includes overseeing maintenance operations, building management, transportation, cleanliness, security services, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery that supports academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of facilities management strategies
- Manage daily operations related to building maintenance, utilities, and safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Supervise service vendors and contracts for transportation, cleaning, and security
- Coordinate space planning and infrastructure enhancements
- Develop annual budgets and monitor expenditures
- Conduct regular facility audits and prepare operational reports
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure high-quality public services
- Recommend and implement improvements for operational efficiency
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
6–8 years experience in facility and operations management, preferably within government or academic entities
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Familiarity with UAE facility management standards and vendor management
Proficiency in both Arabic and English preferred
