Mechanical Engineer

Review, interpret, and coordinate mechanical designs and drawings for hospital and mid-level tower projects. Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and client requirements. Collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose corrective actions. Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation. Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and adherence to specifications. Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and cost estimates. Provide technical support during design development and construction phases. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve mechanical-related issues efficiently.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the UAE construction sector. Experience working on hospitals and mid-level towers is mandatory. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, DEWA requirements, and international mechanical standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant engineering software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering body. Experience in project management or site supervision. Familiarity with sustainable building practices and energy-efficient systems.
