Job Title: Head Chef – Fast Casual Restaurant

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef with a strong background in fast-casual cuisine to lead our kitchen operations in Dubai. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culinary direction of a new restaurant focused on delivering a high-quality, house-made fast-casual menu in the vibrant neighborhood of Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop and refine recipes, cooking techniques, and other menu items.
- Train and manage kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee and do food preparation, portion control, and follow presentation standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships with a focus on cost control.
- Collaborate with management on menu innovation and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Implement systems for quality control and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Pre-opening experience is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in high-end fast-casual kitchen operations, with a focus on house-made food preparation. Softserve experience is a plus.
- Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent professional training preferred.
- PIC (Person In Charge) certification is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
