The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be the primary liaison between our consultancy, our clients, and all relevant UAE government departments, ministries, and Free Zone authorities. This role is crucial for the efficient and legal processing of all client business setup applications, licenses, visas, and documentation. The PRO must ensure all processes are handled accurately, compliantly, and communicated clearly to both the management and clients


Key Responsibilities (are not limited to but include)


1. Government and Free Zone Liaison

  • Application Management: Process, submit, and track all government and Free Zone applications related to company formation, trade licenses (new, renewal, amendment), and legal documentation.
  • Visa and Immigration: Manage the end-to-end processing of investor and employee visas, residency permits, Emirates IDs, labour cards, medical fitness tests, and visa cancellations/amendments.
  • Compliance: Ensure all company and client documentation is compliant with the latest regulations, laws, and procedures of UAE government bodies (e.g., DED, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation - MOHRE, Immigration Departments) and specific Free Zone authorities.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact to resolve any complications, inquiries, or delays arising from government or Free Zone processing.
  • Stay Updated: Proactively monitor and report on changes in UAE labour, immigration, and commercial laws, particularly those impacting business setup and operations.


2. Client Communication and Support

  • Consultation & Guidance: Provide clear, professional, and accurate guidance to clients regarding required documents, application processes, expected timelines, and governmental fees.
  • Documentation Collection: Coordinate with clients to efficiently collect and verify all necessary legal and personal documents for submission.
  • Progress Reporting: Maintain a high level of transparency by providing regular and timely updates to clients on the status of their applications.
  • Correspondence: Handle official government correspondence and translate official documents (as needed) to facilitate client understanding.


3. Administrative & Documentation

  • Record Keeping: Maintain a meticulous and up-to-date filing system for all client and company legal documents, licenses, passports, and PRO-related receipts.
  • Financial Tracking: Accurately track and reconcile government fees and service charges for all applications.
  • Internal Reporting: Prepare detailed daily/weekly reports for management on the status and progress of all pending and completed client cases.
  • Logistics: Manage logistical tasks such as driving to various government offices, embassies, and Free Zone locations to submit or collect documents.


Skills

Experience: Proven experience as a PRO or Government Liaison in a UAE-based consultancy, business setup, or corporate services environment or a similar role.


Language: Fluency in both English (required) and Arabic (preferred) (written and spoken) to effectively communicate.


Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy.


Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.


Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and handle confidential information professionally.


Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.


Strong network within the industry.
