Overview Of The Role:
- As the Manager of Data Science for Financial Services at Al Futtaim Finance, the role entails executing data science projects to enhance the financial performance and risk management of the organization. The position involves leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to implement predictive models, develop comprehensive financial dashboards, and generate actionable insights. Success in this role requires a robust understanding of financial data analysis, strong quantitative skills, and the capability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decisions that impact the financial strategies of the organization.
What You Will Do:
Predictive Modeling
- Implement predictive models for residual value prediction, credit scoring, delinquency prediction, collections optimization, and pricing improvements.
- Deliver at least 2 use cases demonstrating successful predictive model implementation.
Dashboard and Metrics Development
- Create financial KPI metrics and risk dashboards using statistical techniques and data visualization libraries.
- Develop and maintain 3 comprehensive finance-related dashboards.
Financial Insights Generation
- Generate financial insights utilizing time series decomposition, anomaly detection, and stress testing techniques.
- Produce 3 actionable financial insights monthly.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and financial modeling and machine learning libraries.
