Job Description:

  • Entails designing, building, and repairing various types of furniture such as wooden chairs, shelves, and drawers.
  • Skilled in the construction of wooden fixtures commonly found in homes/offices.
  • Carry out planning and surveys to identify various furniture designs and styles.
  • Interact with clients to obtain information on structural specification and preference.
  • Proffer recommendations to them on appropriate choice of material and design.
  • Provide cost estimate of raw materials required for a project.
  • Discretion of selecting suitable materials needed for the crafting of furniture.
  • Create customized woodworks that serve as an integral part of a furniture.
  • Responsible for the repair of furniture and wood fixtures, ranging from stairs, desks, and doors.
