Overview of the role:

The Head of Used Business will lead and manage the regional operations responsible for sourcing, remarketing, and selling used commercial vehicles, construction equipment, forklifts, generators, and buses across multiple brands in GCC markets. The role carries full P&L accountability, driving profitability and positioning FAMCO Al-Futtaim as a market leader in the used equipment segment.


What you will do:

  • Develop and implement a regional strategy for sourcing and selling used trucks, buses, and industrial equipment.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in GCC and European markets.
  • Build and sustain supplier networks (OEMs, fleet operators, trade-in programs).
  • Oversee multi-channel sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage end-to-end financial performance, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Standardize operations and processes across the region to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team, promoting a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, dealers, financiers, and customers.

What equips you for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Strategy (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing used business or remarketing in automotive or heavy equipment industries.
  • Deep understanding of GCC and regional market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-country business operations.
