Job Overview
We are currently partnering with a leading lifestyle brand in the UAE to hire a Cost Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and controlling costs to ensure profitability and operational efficiency across the business. Prior experience in the F&B industry is preferred, particularly in managing food, beverage, and operational costs in a multi-outlet environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate cost control systems for inventory, production, and operations.
- Monitor daily material consumption, wastage, and variance between standard and actual costs.
- Conduct regular cost and margin analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy and budget alignment.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analysis for management review and decision-making.
- Oversee stock control processes, including stock counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
- Support pricing strategies by providing cost insights and profitability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CMA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 4–7 years of experience in cost control, ideally within the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting principles.
- Proficient in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, cost efficiency, and operational improvement.
