Role Overview The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the firm’s investment activities. The incumbent will play an important role in supporting the team with financial analysis, conducting thorough due diligence, supporting investment execution, and portfolios review and monitoring within the public and private markets space.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Due Diligence Support: Support the due diligence process for potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessments. Assist in evaluating investment prospects and assessing their strategic fit with the firm's investment objectives. Investment Execution Support: Provide support in the execution of investment transactions. Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate successful deal completion and alignment with investment strategies. Prepare investment memos/models, presentations, and other documentation to support the investment process and communicate findings to internal stakeholders. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting private markets investments. Support efforts to identify emerging opportunities and risks within the market. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments. Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance culture, sharing insights and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA designation a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, or related fields; prior experience in private equity is a plus. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct financial analysis, market research, and due diligence. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering excellence and driving success in private markets investments. Knowledge of financial markets, investment principles applicable to asset management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
