The Estimation Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the estimation process for various projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership skills to ensure that all project estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with the company’s goals. The Estimation Manager will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop cost estimates that reflect the project’s requirements and market conditions. This role is crucial in helping the organization secure contracts and maintain profitability.
Responsibilities:
Lead preparation of cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure works.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents; identify gaps and risks.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and internal BOQs.
• Analyze and validate consultant-issued BOQs; flag discrepancies.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor & supplier quotations.
• Prepare tender pricing sheets, cost breakdowns, and commercial comparisons.
• Provide value engineering proposals to achieve cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Project teams during tender stages.
• Support post-tender clarifications, variations, and commercial reviews.
Skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years UAE experience in estimation & quantity surveying (high-rise, towers, mixed-use projects preferred).
• Strong expertise in BOQ development, tendering, subcontractor pricing, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, SAP (advantage), and digital take-off tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
