Overview Of The Role:


  • The PR & Influencer Executive at M&S is integral to enhancing the brand's presence across fashion and food sectors. This role involves strategizing and executing PR campaigns and influencer partnerships that drive customer engagement and sales. The executive works closely with agency partners to generate compelling content across social media platforms, manages budgets, and tracks performance. Additionally, the role requires fostering community engagement and serving as a liaison with mall partners for brand activations. Success in this position is reflected by increased brand visibility, consumer connections, and business growth.


What You Will Do:


PR Campaign Management


  • Develop and drive targeted PR campaigns that resonate with fashion and food media and consumer audiences.
  • Support strategy to build brand awareness and reset style credentials to land coverage with editors, influencers, and partners aligning with brand aesthetic.
  • Drive direction for media engagement with clear messaging and tailored media kits for fashion and food media.


Influencer Partnership Management


  • Manage agency partners to deliver authentic, high-impact content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Develop online influencer conversion strategies to maximize online sales.
  • Coordinate seasonal press events and influencer activations to drive media and influencer exposure.


Community and Event Management


  • Management of in-store customer events to enhance local customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Build and execute strategies to foster an active, engaged community program around the brand across the region.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for mall management teams to explore brand inclusion within activations.


Analysis and Strategy


  • Track and analyze media coverage, influencer engagement, and campaign effectiveness to grow share of voice.
  • Identify growth opportunities and build localized strategies and on-brand partnerships.
  • Regularly report on influencer content analysis, media coverage, community, and customer engagement metrics.


Collaboration and Teamwork


  • Create and maintain relationships and workflows with Marks & Spencer UK, M&S AFG buying teams, and AFG Central Digital team.
  • Conduct weekly meetings and monthly updates, ensuring alignment on campaigns and product priorities.
  • Align daily communication with brand merchandisers for upcoming campaigns.


Personal Development


  • Develop relationships with key communities and manage multiple agencies effectively.
  • Create brand buzz through events for various audience segments.
  • Manage and deliver on-brand events, including seasonal press and customer events.

What Qualifies You For The Role:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR and influencer management.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with influencer management and media monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media channels and fashion retail industry.
