About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Manager with extensive UAE construction experience to lead the project planning and scheduling function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely delivery and proactive risk management across complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive baseline project schedules using Primavera P6, integrating all project phases, milestones, and deliverables.
• Conduct detailed delay analysis, resource loading, productivity tracking, and schedule risk assessments to support project decision-making.
• Coordinate with project management teams to provide regular program updates, progress reports, and forecast planning.
• Prepare and present early warning reports, trend analyses, and mitigation plans to address potential delays or deviations.
• Interface closely with Quantity Surveyors (QS), Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of schedules with cost, material, and design deliverables.
• Lead schedule review meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure transparency and adherence to project timelines.
• Support claims management and extension of time (EOT) analysis with accurate schedule documentation.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE construction experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential; Primavera P6 Certification is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or AACE’s PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) are highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in delay analysis (EOT), risk management, and resource optimization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex schedule information clearly.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.

Salary Range:

AED 25,000 – AED 30,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
