We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site activities, coordinating with consultants/contractors, ensuring project quality, and supporting project execution from planning to completion.
Skills
Site & Project Management
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain schedule and quality.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations.
Technical & Design Responsibilities
- Review structural and architectural drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and technical submittals.
- Support the project manager in preparing method statements and work plans.
- Identify technical issues and provide solutions to prevent delays.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures at site.
- Work closely with safety officers to enforce HSE standards.
- Inspect materials delivered to ensure they meet required specifications.
Coordination & Documentation
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation including site drawings, logs, inspections, and approvals.
- Support in obtaining necessary NOCs, approvals, and inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction or contracting projects (UAE experience preferred).
- Knowledge of UAE municipality regulations and construction standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project management software.
- Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Should be available to join immediately or within short notice
