Job Summary: The Sales Engineer – Water Treatment is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, providing technical expertise on water / wastewater treatment solutions. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales skills to meet client requirements across industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in water / wastewater treatment markets Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and closing Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proposals Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals Technical & Engineering Support: Assess customer needs through site visits, water analysis and process evaluations Experience in appropriate water treatment solutions (e.g., filtration, RO, softening, chemical treatment (cooling tower, closed loop,boiler…,& wastewater treatment systems (STP, Grey Water Recycling, TSE Polishing plant… ) Collaborate with engineering, operations and service teams to ensure successful project execution Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as needed Market & Industry Knowledge: Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence Ensure solutions comply with local and international water quality standards Documentation & Reporting Prepare technical specifications, quotations and sales reports Maintain records and accurate sales forecasts Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in sales, technical sales or applications engineering in water treatment Experience with industrial, municipal or commercial water systems preferred
Sales & Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently Willingness to travel for customer visits and site assessments
Salary & Benefits: Salary: AED 4,000 – 7,000 per month (depending on experience) Commission / Incentives: Performance-based sales commission Allowances:Transportation allowance or company vehicle Mobile allowance Benefits:Employment Visa Medical Insurance Annual Leave as per UAE Labour Law
