Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Professional Kitchen Designer to join our Dubai contracting & consultancy team. This role is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end design of high‑end residential, hospitality, and F&B kitchens from concept through detailed construction documentation. You will act as a design lead, working directly with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver functional, compliant, and aesthetically exceptional kitchens. Proficiency in Revit is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead kitchen design projects from initial brief, concept, and schematic design through 

detailed design, tender, and IFC/shop drawing stages. 

• Develop high‑quality kitchen layouts, space planning, and workflows for residential and 

commercial/hospitality kitchens. 

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants to ensure fully 

integrated and buildable kitchen designs. 

• Produce and review detailed drawings: plans, elevations, sections, detail equipment 

schedules, and builder’s work drawings. 

• Prepare and validate BOQs, material/finish specifications, and appliance selections 

aligned with project requirements. 

• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE / Dubai Municipality / Civil Defense 

requirements, plus international kitchen and F&B operational standards. 

• Conduct site surveys and oversee measurement verification; manage design changes 

based on site constraints. 

• Lead client presentations, design workshops, and value‑engineering exercises while 

protecting design intent. 

• Mentor junior designers and support the development of office standards, libraries, and 

templates. 

• Collaborate with project managers to plan deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure 

consistent quality control. 

• Stay updated on global kitchen trends, ergonomics, sustainable materials, and 

innovations in appliances and hardware.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or 

related field. 

• Minimum 7–10 years of professional kitchen design experience within a consultancy 

environment in UAE/GCC. 

• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership on luxury residential, hospitality, and/or 

commercial kitchen projects. 

• Expert knowledge of kitchen planning principles, cabinetry/joinery construction, 

materials, hardware, and appliance integration. 

• High proficiency in 2D/REVIT design and documentation tools (AutoCAD essential 

REVIT proficiency, especially for BIM‑coordinated projects) 

• Excellent understanding of MEP coordination for kitchens (exhaust/ventilation, 

drainage/grease waste, gas safety, power loads). 

• Ability to interpret and coordinate multi‑disciplinary drawings and resolve site/design 

conflicts proactively. 

• Strong client‑facing skills, presentation ability, and clear professional communication. 

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple high‑value projects 

under tight deadlines. 

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have 

• Experience with European kitchen systems and premium brands. 

• Familiarity with BIM workflows, IFC deliverables, and coordination tools 

(Navisworks/BIM360/Revizto). 

• Knowledge of sustainable kitchen design practices and circular materials. 

• UAE driving license. 

• Arabic language is a plus (not mandatory).
