International Real Estate Director

We are seeking an experienced International Real Estate Director to lead our property acquisition and development initiatives in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the retail and wholesale industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale real estate projects internationally. This role requires strategic vision, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The International Real Estate Director will be responsible for identifying new investment opportunities, overseeing the development process, and ensuring that all projects align with our company's strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive international real estate strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across various markets, focusing on retail and wholesale sectors.
  3. Negotiate and finalize contracts with property owners, developers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms for the company.
  4. Oversee the planning, design, and construction phases of new developments, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  6. Manage relationships with local governments, regulatory bodies, and community organizations to facilitate project approvals and community support.
  7. Lead a team of real estate professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.
  8. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status and strategic recommendations.
  9. Monitor and assess the performance of existing properties, implementing strategies for improvement and maximizing returns.
  10. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations related to real estate transactions and development.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in international real estate development, particularly in the retail and wholesale sectors.

  7. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  8. Strong understanding of local real estate laws and regulations in Dubai and the UAE.
