- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end logistics operations for multiple construction projects, including materials, equipment, and manpower mobilization across sites.
- Oversee import, export, and customs clearance activities in the UAE/GCC, ensuring full compliance with local regulations, port authorities, and free-zone requirements.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with project schedules, procurement plans, and cost control objectives.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Project Management, HSE, and Finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
- Manage logistics vendors, freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse operators; negotiate contracts, rates, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and GCC transportation, safety, and customs laws, including documentation, permits, and route planning for oversized or heavy cargo.
- Monitor logistics budgets, control costs, track KPIs, and prepare regular performance and status reports for senior management.
- Establish and maintain effective warehouse, inventory control, and material tracking systems using ERP or logistics management platforms.
- Identify logistics risks, delays, and bottlenecks; proactively implement mitigation plans to avoid project disruptions.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with HSE requirements, including safe handling, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment.
Skills
- Education:Bachelors/Masters
Major: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Work Experience:5–8 years of logistics experience in the UAE/GCC, preferably within large-scale construction or infrastructure project
- Professional Certifications (preferred):CSCP / CPIM (APICS) or equivalent Supply Chain certification / CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) certification
- Other Skills:Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures, ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools; valid UAE driving license preferred.
