Job Title: Senior Accountant – Manpower Outsourcing (UAE) Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Finance Manager Location: UAE
Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end accounting and ensure monthly closing of books within defined timelines. Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, payroll costs, accruals, provisions, and expenses. Maintain proper accounting records in compliance with IFRS and company policies. Oversee client invoicing based on manpower contracts, attendance records, and agreed billing terms. Ensure accurate billing of salaries, overtime, allowances, service charges, and statutory costs. Maintain strict control over accounts receivable, including aging analysis and regular follow-ups. Coordinate with operations and clients to resolve billing issues and disputes. Support collections and ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables. Coordinate with HR and payroll teams to ensure correct accounting of payroll, benefits, and manpower-related costs. Reconcile payroll data with client billing and general ledger. Monitor manpower margins and cost allocations by project or client. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT returns, reconciliations, and documentation. Assist in statutory, internal, and external audits. Maintain proper documentation for VAT, contracts, and financial records. Work closely with the Finance Manager to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. Liaise with operations, HR, and sales teams for financial data and issue resolution. Identify and implement process improvements for invoicing, receivables, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA / ACCA / CPA/Mcom/ CMA preferred).5–8 years of accounting experience, with mandatory experience in the UAE manpower outsourcing or staffing industry. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition. Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong control over invoicing and receivables management. Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet tight monthly closing deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
