Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, observations, and documentation of vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, policies, and safety standards.
- Assist with procedures, wound care, and post-operative care; monitor for complications and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Ensure infection control, sanitation, and aseptic techniques are strictly followed.
- Coordinate discharge planning and provide appropriate follow-up instructions and referrals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical rounds.
- Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and adherence to regulatory and institutional policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university.
- Current registration or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UAE.
- Internship-level experience or recent nursing graduate with clinical rotation exposure.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, pharmacology, and essential patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Fluency in English & Hindi; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
