Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new clients, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence for the company’s inspection and related services. The role focuses on sales generation, client relationship management, and market intelligence while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

 

Growth & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for inspection, testing, and certification services.
  • Achieve revenue targets through effective sales strategies and client acquisition.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, manufacturers, suppliers, and service partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding inspection service needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address client concerns in coordination with operations teams.

Market & Industry Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
  • Identify emerging sectors and new service opportunities.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and sales reports to management.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with inspection, technical, and operations teams to ensure accurate service delivery.
  • Coordinate with finance and administration for invoicing, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Support marketing initiatives, trade shows, and industry events.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all business development activities align with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and ethical practices.
  • Promote the company’s quality, safety, and compliance culture.


Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in inspection, testing, certification, engineering services, or related industries.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of inspection services, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop growth strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
