Description

In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. You will ensure technical accuracy, quality compliance, and timely delivery while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. 

Role & Responsibilities:

Planning & Work Preparation

• Review project requirements and coordinate with Sales.
• Prepare designs and secure customer approvals.
• Plan project execution, materials, and staffing.
• Prepare RFQs and share technical details with Div 3.
• Define work methods, tools, and production steps.
• Record checks and tests in the Test Plan.
• Prepare test procedures and manage project handover.

Quality Control

• Oversee quality checks during and after production.
• Ensure all parts meet standards before leaving the workshop.
• Report required corrections and release parts for transport.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure proper waste management.

Delivery

• Conduct final testing and inspections before client delivery.
• Recommend and follow up on corrective actions.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by management.

Skills

Skills & Competencies:

• Project management and project planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination.
•  Electrical engineering knowledge.
•  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
•  Proficiency in project management software/tools.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and inspection processes.
•  Experience in crane manufacturing or heavy machinery is an advantage. 

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience in the crane manufacturing or heavy machinery industry is a plus.
