About the Role
The Account Executive will drive new business by prospecting, delivering tailored demos, and managing the full sales cycle through to closing. They will maintain a strong pipeline, build key relationships, and consistently meet revenue targets. Key
Responsibilities
● Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events.
● Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct compelling product demos and presentations tailored to the prospect's needs.
● Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target companies.
● Needs Assessment: Understand the prospect's business challenges and position Octa's solutions to address their needs effectively.
● Proposal and Contract Management: Create and deliver customized proposals and quotes. Manage the negotiation and contract signing process.
● Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using our CRM system and provide regular status updates.
● Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to customer and to provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
● Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and performance metrics.
● Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
● 3-5 years in a sales role, ideally in SaaS or Fintech, with a focus on accounts receivable or financial services.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
