About the Role

MAPA Group is seeking a highly qualified BIM Manager to be assigned to our Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro Station Expansion in Dubai. The BIM Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all BIM-related activities across design, construction, and handover phases, ensuring alignment with project requirements, international standards, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Coordinate BIM processes across all disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP)
• Ensure BIM compliance with client requirements, contract specifications, and local authority standards
• Manage model coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution processes
• Oversee BIM deliverables at all project stages, including construction and as-built models
• Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
• Ensure proper data management, model integrity, and information Exchange
• Support digital construction workflows, quantity take-offs, and 4D/5D BIM integration where applicable
• Lead and mentor the BIM team and promote BIM best practices on the project

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to BIM-enabled projects
• Proven experience in infrastructure, metro, railway, or large-scale construction projects
• Gulf region experience is mandatory, preferably in the UAE
• Strong command of BIM standards, workflows, and coordination processes
• Hands-on experience with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, or similar platforms
• Experience working with clients, consultants, and public authorities (RTA experience is an advantage)
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills
