Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out survey setting out for storm water pipelines, manholes, catch pits, gullies, culverts, and outfalls
  • Set out invert levels, slopes, alignments, and coordinates for drainage networks
  • Verify pipeline gradients and flow directions as per approved drawings
  • Conduct as-built surveys for storm water works and prepare submission drawings
  • Check manhole locations, depths, cover levels, and benching levels
  • Monitor excavation, bedding, pipe laying, and backfilling levels
  • Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and submit survey reports, level sheets, and inspection records
  • Ensure survey works comply with municipality and authority standards
  • Assist in resolving site discrepancies and clashes with existing utilities
  • Maintain accuracy of control points and benchmarks


Skills

  • Excellent understanding of invert levels and hydraulic slopes
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and site pressure
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong coordination and reporting skills
