Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and assessments for patients requiring physiotherapy treatment.
• Formulate and deliver individualized treatment programs based on evidence-based practice and clinical assessment.
• Advise staff on alternative physiotherapy treatment plans versus unnecessary invasive treatments.
• Use physical methods to treat injury and disease, improving patients’ physical functioning and range of movement.
• Ensure appropriate referral of patients to other professionals and services.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, including for patients with complex healthcare needs.
• Assist in the development and education of treatment programs.
• Make recommendations to enhance physiotherapy services.
• Provide emergency care and attend annual resuscitation training.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and recognize areas for improvement.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in a similar physiotherapy role.
• Technical Skills: Experience in areas such as Basic/Advanced Life Support, musculoskeletal therapies, massage therapy/sports massage, health promotion, ice therapy, acupuncture, sports therapy & rehabilitation, pain management, female health, strength & conditioning, family medicine, and chronic disease management (respiratory, cardiac, diabetes).
