JOB PURPOSE The Cake Decorator is responsible for decorating cakes and pastries according to customer requests and company standards. The role requires strong skills in fondant work, buttercream techniques, and basic 3D cake design, with a focus on executing assigned designs accurately, maintaining workstation cleanliness, and adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES Decorate cakes based on provided designs, sketches, or customer requests, ensuring visual appeal and consistency. Assist in sculpting 3D elements and figurines using fondant and other decorative mediums. Apply frosting and buttercream using various basic to intermediate techniques and finishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cake decorating area, tools, and supplies. Support the Head Cake Decorator in executing complex cake projects. Follow production schedules and complete tasks within designated timelines. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in stock checks for decorating supplies and communicate needs to the Head Cake Decorator
