Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a motivated Store Manager to lead our equestrian shop and oversee day-to-day operations. While prior experience in retail management or the equestrian industry (horse care, riding equipment, or equestrian sales) is a plus, it is not mandatory, we provide full training.


Your main responsibilities will include managing daily store operations, leading and supporting the team, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining strong visual merchandising and product displays, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all horse enthusiasts.

  • Sales & KPI focus (targets, conversion, ATV/UPT, driving add-on sales)
  • Staff scheduling & task planning (rosters, break plans, daily task lists)
  • Visual merchandising (maintaining displays, product presentation, brand standards)
  • Stock & inventory control (receiving, replenishment, stock counts, shrink control)
  • Operational accuracy (POS, cash handling, returns/exchanges, reporting)
  • Strong communication (with customers, team, and management)
  • Problem-solving & ownership mindset (fast decisions, proactive follow-up)
  • Attention to detail (cleanliness, pricing, signage, product placement)
  • Equestrian knowledge is a plus (basic understanding of riding gear & horse care)
