ELV Technician / Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician/Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of various ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Gate Barrier, Intercom, and other low-current systems. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, SMATV, Gate Barrier, and Structured Cabling.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of ELV systems.
  • Assist in system configuration, programming, and commissioning under the guidance of engineers or project supervisors.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
  • Ensure installations comply with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other site teams to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
  • Support senior technicians and engineers in project execution and handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with ELV systems.
  • Ability to read drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
