Overview of the role:
The Allocator Analyst is responsible for ensuring the right products are allocate to the right stores at the right time to maximize sales, profitability, and inventory productivity. This role supports the Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain teams by creating data-driven allocation decisions, managing replenishment, monitoring store performance, and optimizing inventory flow across channels
What you will do:-
Description of Accountability:
Allocation and Replenishment
· Execute weekly allocations to stores based on store cataloguing done by the buying team, store capacity, Option fulfilment and inventory levels.
- Support initial product allocation for new season and new launch assortments.
- Manage replenishment for core and seasonal products to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Monitor product performance and adjust allocations as needed to maximize sell-through.
Store Inventory Management
- Analyze store-level inventory productivity (sell-through, cover, stock health).
- Identify overstocked and understocked stores and propose corrective actions.
- Support in-season inventory rebalancing and consolidation decisions.
- Maintain accurate stock levels to support both retail and e-commerce channels.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Produce weekly reports on sales, inventory, and performance by store and product.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support planning and buying decisions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning to review product performance.
- Analyze no movement stock data for store and take appropriate action
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Merchandising to understand product strategies and life cycles.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams on stock availability and shipment timelines.
- Partner with Store Operations to understand store needs, feedback, and capacity constraints.
System & Data Maintenance
- Ensure allocation parameters (min/max, ROP Turn off, Restricted file, Store clusters) are accurate and updated.

What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in allocation, planning, replenishment, or inventory management, ideally in fashion or retail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience with allocation or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JDA, Island Pacific, PRISM).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
