We are looking for a talented aluminum and glass Facade Designer to join our innovative team in Dubai, UAE. This position plays a pivotal role in the design and execution of Aluminium facade systems which includes curtain wall, doors and windows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aluminum facade design, with a specific emphasis on facade systems, materials, and technologies. You will be responsible for creating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and conducting material take-offs for various projects. A minimum of five years of experience in facade design is required, and familiarity with minimal aluminum systems will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum facade systems that align with project specifications and client requirements.
2. Conduct material take-offs to ensure accurate estimation of resources needed for facade construction.
3. Utilize 3D design software to develop and visualize facade concepts, enhancing client presentations and project proposals.
4. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate facade designs seamlessly with overall building structures.
5. Perform site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
6. Engage in client meetings to present design proposals, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to designs.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in facade design and construction.
8. Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
9. Mentor junior designers in best practices and innovative design techniques in facade design.

Preferred Candidate:

1. A minimum of five years of experience in facade design, with a proven track record in creating effective facade solutions.
2. Strong proficiency in design software, AutoCAD 2D and 3D
3. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
4. Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of architectural principles and construction practices.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the flexibility to adapt designs as project requirements evolve.
