We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, 2D drawings, and 3D modeling to join our interior fit-out and contracting team. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate construction drawings, coordinating with project teams, and supporting execution on commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including:
- Floor plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Shop drawings
- Joinery and furniture details
- Develop 3D models and visualizations for interior spaces, furniture, and fit-out elements
- Coordinate drawings with:
- Site engineers
- Project managers
- Clients and consultants
- Revise drawings as per client comments, site conditions, and authority requirements
- Prepare as-built drawings after project completion
- Ensure drawings comply with UAE standards, project specifications, and authority regulations
- Assist in material detailing, finishes, and measurements
- Support quantity take-offs and basic technical submissions when required
Preferred (Added Advantage):
- UAE experience in interior fit-out or contracting companies
- Knowledge of:
- Shop drawings
- Authority submissions
- Site coordination
- Familiarity with Excel for basic BOQs or measurements

Skills
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design
Strong command of AutoCAD (mandatory)
Proficiency in 2D drafting and detailing
Good working knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp / 3ds Max / similar)
Understanding of interior fit-out works (joinery, gypsum, cladding, furniture, finishes)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Good communication and coordination skills
