Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and highly driven Associate Director – Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to join Dubai Parks & Resorts (DPR) as a key member of the on-site Leadership Team.
In this senior role, you’ll take full ownership of HSE and Food Safety across a large, guest-focused, multi-asset destination. You’ll lead a diverse team of professionals, partner closely with senior leadership, third-party operators, and regulators, and play a critical role in shaping and driving a strong, proactive safety culture across the resort.
This is an opportunity for a confident, hands-on HSE leader who thrives in complex operational environments and can influence at every level while delivering measurable safety and compliance outcomes.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and implementing DPR’s HSE strategy across all assets.
- Acting as the HSE Subject Matter Expert for all DHE-run operations at DPR
- Influencing senior stakeholders and partnering with leadership to improve HSE performance
- Overseeing HSE coordination for third-party operators, including LEGOLAND Dubai and Lapita Hotel
- Driving compliance with local regulations and international standards, including ISO and HACCP frameworks
- Designing and delivering impactful HSE and Food Safety training programs
- Leading incident investigations, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Using data, KPIs, and insights to drive performance, reduce risk, and enhance guest and colleague safety
- Managing HSE budgets and delivering cost-effective, sustainable safety solutions
About You
- Bachelor’s degree
- NEBOSH Diploma and Level 3 Food Safety certification (preferred)
- 5+ years’ senior HSE leadership experience within hospitality, theme parks, entertainment, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, food safety, and international HSE standards
- Proven experience leading teams, influencing stakeholders, and managing complex operations
- Confident communicator with strong presentation, reporting, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, guest-focused environments
