Job Purpose
Originate, structure, and execute bespoke lending and financing solutions for Corporate, FI, Government, and Wealth clients. Deliver tailored balance-sheet and off-balance-sheet structures such as structured loans, receivables financing, collateralized facilities, leverage solutions, and hybrid structures. Support the Head of Structured Solutions in expanding the bank’s structured-financing franchise, deepening client penetration, and ensuring strong commercial outcomes with appropriate risk alignment.
Key Result Areas
Origination & Structuring
• Originate structured-lending opportunities across client segments such as corporates, financial institutions, and government-related entities.
• Structure tailored lending and financing transactions such as:
o Collateralized lending
o Structured bilateral or club facilities
o Receivables discounting
o Risk-participation structures
o Leverage or asset-backed financing
o Structured deposit-linked or hedged lending
• Design transaction economics, pricing, and repayment structures in line with client needs and bank risk appetite.
• Coordinate credit proposals, facility structures, and approval documentation.
Execution & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end execution of structured-lending transactions including term sheet negotiation, documentation, and closing.
• Liaise with Legal, Credit, Operations, and Risk to ensure accurate documentation, booking, and compliance.
• Prepare financial models, cash-flow scenarios, and collateral-valuation assessments when required.
• Ensure timely execution and smooth client experience.
Stakeholder & Market Engagement
• Support coverage teams (Corporate Banking, FI, Wealth) by providing product expertise, training, and market insights.
• Maintain strong dialogue with Trading, ALM, and Structuring teams to deliver risk-hedged financing solutions.
• Stay updated on regulatory, legal, and market changes impacting structured finance and lending.
Risk & Control
• Ensure all transactions adhere to risk, credit, and collateral frameworks, including suitability and product-governance standards.
• Monitor portfolio-level transaction performance, collateral behavior, and exposure concentrations.
• Ensure documentation, covenants, and structural protections remain robust across all deals.
Business Development & Strategy
• Identify new products or market opportunities to enhance the Structured Solutions franchise.
• Support the Head of Structured Solutions in delivering strategic revenue plans, client penetration strategies, and platform development.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• 10–12 years’ experience in structured lending, structured finance, or corporate/FIG solutions.
• Strong understanding of lending structures, collateral frameworks, cash-flow analysis, and credit risk.
• Experience in structuring bilateral or syndicated financing, asset-backed or receivable-backed structures, and hybrid solutions.
• Solid stakeholder-management skills and ability to work with Corporate Banking, FI, Legal, and Credit teams.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA/FRM or similar is an advantage.
