Job Summary
SC Ventures is Standard Chartered’s innovation, fintech investment and ventures arm. We were established to reinvent banking, as the significant technological disruptions to the industry was impacting its ability to serve clients and customers, in the ways they needed to be served.
We are looking for a product analyst that can help us build a B2B marketplace that will transform how SMEs in the UAE buy, sell and grow.
This role sits at the intersection of product, strategy and data, supporting the design, validation and scaling of the marketplace. The product analyst will support the team with data driven insights, analytical frameworks and performance data reporting structure across the full product lifecycle. The role will include understanding user behaviour, marketplace dynamics and performance drivers to support and guide product discovery, prioritization and execution.
Strategy
• Support product and marketplace strategy through data backed insights, opportunity sizing and performance analysis
• Own market assessments and competitive analysis to guide decision making
• Act as a thought partner to the product teams on roadmap sequencing and prioritization
• Partner with product and engineering to define the data requirements, event tracking and instrumentation
Business
• Analyse user behaviour across the buyer funnel, seller onboarding, catalogue performance and marketplace liquidity
• Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations
Processes
• Define and own product and marketplace KPIs, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting
• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor performance, growth and efficiency
• Contribute to a strong data driven culture by sharing insights, best practices and frameworks
Key Responsibilities People & Talent
• Work closely with global cross functional teams to ensure robust data infrastructure, monitoring and event instrumentation to support reliable product analytics and decision making
Risk Management
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency and flagging any data gaps, errors or limitations that could impact product or commercial decisions
Governance
• Operate in line with SC ventures governance standards
• Ensure compliance with internal data, reporting and documentation requirements

Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related gfield
Languages English
• 3-5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analytics or consulting roles
• Prior experience setting up data and reporting structures, including defining the key metrics, building dashboards and identifying the data requirements in partnership with product and engineering
• Hands-on experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder and ambiguous environments, with the ability to drive clarity through data and structured analysis
• Experience in marketplaces, ecommerce or B2B platforms preferred
• Exposure to SME ecosystems and supply chains is a plus
