About the Role




As the Assistant Director of Business Development – MICE & Corporate, you will oversee local and international corporate and group business. Under the guidance of the Sales leadership, you will implement the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for driving sales activities and maximizing revenue opportunities.






Key Responsibilities:





  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target key corporate accounts and generate new business opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify, and secure corporate clients through direct sales, telemarketing, sales calls, and networking events.

  • Manage a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and site inspections to showcase the hotel’s offerings.

  • Focus on total revenue generation including rooms,- F&B and banquets revenues

  • Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts that align with the hotel's pricing strategy and revenue goals

  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to develop promotions, packages, and campaigns targeted at the corporate segment.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and potential threats.

  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance the hotel’s visibility and develop professional relationships.

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of service for corporate clients.

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.




About You:





  • Experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing in an international 5* luxury property.

  • Hold a business-related educational background.

  • Be self-driven, goal-oriented, willing to challenge the status quo.

  • Uphold professional values, ethics, and integrity at all times.

  • Have the ability to network, building strong & meaningful business relationships.

  • Have experience in the local market (UAE as well as other GCC).

  • Communicate and write with fluency in English (as well as the local language).

  • Have strong selling, interpersonal and communication skills.
