About the Job:
Plans, directs and supervises jack up rigs/barge as and when required. Provides Marine Operation Support Services for all ADNOC OFFSHORE concession areas. Includes planning, preparation, and attendance as required for moving/positioning Self-elevating Jack-up Rigs & Barges. Provides Manager rig move operation with operational status of the Rig/Barge moves, Diving mooring vessel & tug availability in relation to the company's Oil & Gas production, development, and exploration activities. Ensures Service Level Agreements and KPIs are achieved.


Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Directly communicates with AOF Drilling & Maintenance Teams for regular updates of planned Rig/Barge move dates and updates Offshore Team to ensure all preparations are in place in good time.
  • Focal point for coordination of Marine Offshore Operations related to Rig/Barge Moves (Diving/Mooring Vessels, Tugs and Rig Movers) within ADNOC OFFSHORE concession areas and supervises/controls contracted vessels activities engaged in field operations.
  • Plan and prepare all the required documents for the jack-ups move operation and to be submitted to the unit's owner to enable them to have the Location Approval Certificate.
  • Close coordination with shipping for rig moves marine spread availability.
  • Maintains document control and updating records related to Rig/Barge moves.
  • Raises alert to Focal points when conflicting rig/barge moves occur in order to initiate Rig/Barge Move service level agreement and to decide move priority in order to minimize lost time, lost production and to not compromise safety.
  • Communicates with ORM & OMS site conditions, mooring patterns and additional requirements.
  • Liaise with the weather forecaster for present and the outlook trend.
  • Execute the movements of contracted Jack-up Rigs & Barges (as required) within ADNOC OFFSHORE concession areas and preparation of necessary reports on such field moorings concerning contracted Jack-up movements


Minimum Requirements:
  • Masters Mariner Certificate of competency STCW 95 11/2. And amendments.
  • 15 years' experience in Marine Offshore Operations including Tug Master's experience preferable with knowledge of ADNOC Offshore operational areas. Offshore towage pilotage and positioning of Jack-up Rigs.
  • At least 4 years' experience in offshore vessel operations in senior capacity. Preferable experienced in Mooring Vessel, AHTS, and jack up barges.


Professional Certifications
  • COC and all relevant courses.
  • Bridge Watch Officer Certificate of Competency STCW 95 11/1 (Academic Standard of B/Sc. In Marine Science) & have completed an ADNOC Offshore approved training scheme targeted towards the post.
