Job Brief:We are hiring an experienced Service Engineer – Plant Operations to manage, operate, and optimize water and wastewater treatment plants across client sites in the UAE. The role involves project/site management, commissioning, advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality operational performance in line with design standards.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage project and site operations for water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Carry out assigned water treatment and plant maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with sales teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Commission, operate, and maintain systems such as RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, DAF, DM, Softener, UV, EDI, and filtration systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, chemical, and process-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with site safety and work permit requirements.
- Monitor water parameters and analyze performance reports.
- Prepare method statements, checklists, and risk assessments.
- Generate monthly O&M, AMC, production, chemical consumption, and water analysis reports.
- Optimize plant performance to meet design and operational commitments.
- Provide technical recommendations for process improvements.
- Interface controllers with BMS/SCADA and control panels.
- Calibrate sensors including pH, conductivity, turbidity, ORP, and flow meters.
- Support after-sales services related to water treatment chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct site surveys and submit technical recommendations before project bidding.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental / Electrical).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water treatment or maintenance companies.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies.
- Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with BMS/SCADA systems and industrial controllers.
- Valid GCC driving license preferred.
- Strong client management and reporting skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Open to considering home country experience.
