We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading hospital in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and culturally sensitive communication.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and peptic ulcers Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy Interpret diagnostic tests including imaging, lab results, and biopsies Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency GI assessments Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, and radiologists for integrated care Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with MOH regulations Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and departmental quality improvement initiatives Deliver patient education and support for lifestyle and dietary management

📋 Qualifications & Experience

Medical degree from a recognized institution Specialist certification in Gastroenterology (e.g., Arab Board, MRCP, or equivalent) Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a hospital or specialty clinic UAE MOH license or eligibility required Fluent in Arabic and/or English preferred Strong procedural and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
