Role Purpose
The Senior Executive of Events & Activations is responsible for the hands-on planning and execution of a wide range of community events and resident activations. This role is crucial for bringing the community's vision to life by creating engaging and memorable experiences that foster a strong sense of belonging and enhance residents' lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Event Coordination: Assist the Events & Activations Manager in the end-to-end planning and execution of all community events, including festivals, workshops, and seasonal celebrations. This involves managing timelines, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all logistical details are handled meticulously.
- On-Site Management: Serve as a key on-site representative during events, managing the setup, live operations, and breakdown to ensure a seamless and safe experience for all attendees.
- Vendor & Partner Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, suppliers, and external partners. Assist in contract negotiation and ensure all services are delivered as agreed.
Budget Support: Help track and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded and aligned with project plans. - Marketing & Communications: Work with the marketing team to promote events across all communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and community portals, to maximize resident attendance and engagement.
- Post-Event Reporting: Assist in the collection of feedback and data after each event to support post-event analysis and reporting.
Knowledge & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in events management, community engagement, or a related field.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage events from conception to completion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and external partners.
