Team Leader – Glass & Aluminium Works

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations in

our glass works. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the

ability to guide a team toward delivering highquality workmanship on time and within

project specifications.

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and installers in glass and aluminium works.
• Analyse, and work from technical drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate the fabrication, cutting, and assembly of glass and aluminium components.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions on-site.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and productivity.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding progress and requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

Skills

• Proven experience (3–5+ years) in glass and aluminium fabrication and installation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of glass types, aluminium profiles, hardware, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with cutting, assembling, and fixing glass and aluminium systems.
• Previous experience leading a team or supervising site work.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
