Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work on heavy vehicles, machinery, and structural components.
Repair cracks, worn parts, and damaged metal components using appropriate welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.).
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and repair instructions.
Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning materials.
Inspect welded structures for strength, alignment, and compliance with specifications.
Assist in rebuilding or modifying equipment parts as required by maintenance schedules.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working condition.
Follow workshop safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Support preventive maintenance and emergency repair work as required.
