Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management & Records: Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods in an inventory system. This includes conducting regular physical stock verifications and audits.
  • Receiving and Inspection: Accepting deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of items, and inspecting for damage.
  • Storage and Organization: Safely storing materials in a organized, accessible manner, including labeling stock.
  • Issuing Materials: Issuing supplies to various departments based on authorized requisitions.
  • Stock Control: Monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase requisitions, and replenishing stock.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Keeping the storehouse clean, secure, and orderly.
  • Reporting: Providing reports on inventory status, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Disposal: Handling the disposal of scrap, obsolete, or surplus materials.
