Duties and Responsibilities
As Food & Beverage Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
Lead the F&B operations of the resort as per brand guidelines, LQA & Forbes audit standards.
Establishment of the F&B department's guidelines and operating procedures as per brand standards.
Establish purchasing practices that meet the requirements of the Six Senses nutrition and sustainability platforms.
Produce Menus and Wine Lists to remain relevant and in line with Eat With Six Senses and sustainability practices.
Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.
Develop, implement, and maintain local food and beverage marketing programs for the hotel, monitor local competitors and industry trends.
Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the hotel. To execute the position of Food & Beverage Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4 or more years related experience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
Proven experience leading high end European and Middle Eastern dining operations.
Extensive knowledge of luxury restaurants' wine and beverage service standards and practices. Formal Certification in this field is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing high end restaurant floor operations. A personally involved, visible and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the company’s prominent position within the market.
Possess a well-developed capability for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results in the areas of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, employee satisfaction, revenue and profit.
I also have the ability to engage in a wide array of high-profile business and social community activities.
