About the Company We are working with an established international architectural consultancy headquartered in the UAE, delivering high-profile projects across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Their portfolio spans mixed-use, commercial, residential, hospitality, and large-scale masterplanning developments.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Architect with strong technical capability and full project lifecycle experience to join their dynamic team in the UAE.
The Role This is a hands-on position for a technically strong architect who is confident producing drawings and leading packages directly.
They are not seeking a Design Manager or purely coordination-based professional. They require someone who remains actively involved in drawing production, detailing, and technical delivery.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience managing projects from concept through to construction and handover (A–Z) and must have prior experience delivering projects within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities - Lead architectural projects through all RIBA stages (or equivalent A–Z lifecycle)
- Produce and review architectural drawings, details, and specifications
- Develop design intent into coordinated technical packages
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations and authority requirements
- Coordinate with consultants (MEP, Structural, Civil, etc.)
- Oversee submissions to authorities (DM, DDA, ADM, etc.)
- Attend client meetings and represent the practice professionally
- Provide on-site support during construction phases
- Mentor junior team members where required
Required Experience & Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Minimum 8–12 years’ professional experience
- Proven UAE project experience (essential)
- Demonstrable A–Z project delivery experience
- Strong technical detailing and drawing production skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
- Revit proficiency preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and approval processes
- Experience liaising with local authorities
- Excellent English communication skills
