Job Summary:Leading and performing independently / under supervision internal audit projects/ assignments (including operational, Financial, performance and compliance audits), as part of the annual risk-based internal audit plan approved by Management.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:Performing the risk assessment and support the Group director of Internal Audit in development of risk based internal audit plan. Developing the scope of internal audits focusing on governance, risk management and control processes with direct supervision from Group director of Internal Audit. Execute the plan and deploy data analytics techniques for audit testing purposes to achieve maximum efficiencies. Preparation of audit working papers in accordance with internal audit manual and professional standards, resolving all review comments of Group director or direct supervisor on a timely basis and archiving of internal audit files. Exercise sound judgement in identifying weaknesses in the organizations controls environment and a balanced view of how significant these are. Preparing reports demonstrating the results of audit work performed aligned with the reporting methodology and templates. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Audit systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Update and maintain outstanding actions database and liaise with process owners on implementation status. Conducting follow-up with management as necessary to provide assurance that audit actions have been satisfactorily completed. Perform investigations, spot-checks and other special assignment as allocated.
Experience and Qualifications required:Bachelor degree of Engineering (Civil is preferred). Experience: 7-10 years of overall experience in internal audit with exposure to large organization in real estate sector & Construction sector. Previous experience with Big 4 audit and consulting firms. Experience in real estate sector performing various functions audits (Development projects, Facility Management, Project management, QC, construction operations, leasing, sales) · Working Experience with GRC technologies .
