Job Details

  • Maintain inventory of all safety materials and lifesaving equipment’s Marine related.
  • Prepare safety materials required for the mobilization to offshore marine vessels.
  • Co-ordinate with third party agencies regarding servicing, inspections, certification of all safety materials, lifesaving equipment and maintaining updated records.
  • Coordinate with Stores Dept. regarding the timely delivery of safety related materials, adequate stock availability.
  • Ensure preparation, issuance, tracking and recording of safety materials as per requirements
  • Prepare budget for maintenance costs related to safety materials handled by Marine Section and periodically update Technical Manager regarding the budget status.
  • Prepare purchase and Service Requisitions related to safety materials and services for offshore Marine vessels and to perform technical evaluations.
  • Handling all the invoices applicable to Safety related to technical department and allocate cost codes for its related jobs, registering their records and tracking payment status with Finance Dept.
  • Co-ordinate with Logistics for the collection and delivery of safety materials required for marine vessels requirements.
  • Issue SDIVs of safety materials for different spreads and follow up on the back orders as per mobilization plans.
  • Arrange loading and dispatching of safety materials on trailers and supply vessels & Cargo Barges.
  • Prepare material cargo list as per logistics requirements and maintain record for the same.
  • Ensure availability of data sheets, certification and technical details of items being sent offshore.
  • Expedite sourcing and delivery of materials as per offshore requirement.

Responsibilities:
  • Familiar with national and international safety material and lifesaving equipment’s standards
  • Familiar with international standards and guidelines as well as local & international standard applicable for oil & gas / Chemical / Petrochemical Processing facilities regarding safety material and lifesaving equipment’s standards .
  • Must have involved in the application of ADNOC / ARAMCO HSE standards and recommended practices, for safety material requirements and certifications
    Familiar with all safety materials and lifesaving equipment’s required for Offshore and Onshore fields.
  • Experience in preparation of Material request/ service requests and evaluating of all safety materials.
  • Proven experience in technical evaluation of services & purchase requisitions related to safety materials and lifesaving equipment’s.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and in Computer applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Familiar with store operations including stock levels of safety materials, issuing of materials and back orders.



Qualifications:
  • Secondary School Certificate with a discipline specific technical qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 06 years of relevant experience in similar industries.
