About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join our Catering Sales team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the Groups & Events commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and positioning the resort as a premier luxury destination for events in Dubai.
Deliver revenue across group and event segments through strategic pipeline development, client acquisition, and strong conversion performance.
Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy in partnership with Revenue Management to ensure optimal yield and achievement of financial targets.
Develop and commercialize event venues and concepts, ensuring all spaces are fully activated and aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Groups & Events team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with event planners, agencies, corporate clients, and partners, while ensuring exceptional client experiences and flawless event execution.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales, events, or group business leadership.
Proven track record of driving commercial performance within the Groups & Events segment.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex, high-profile events in a luxury hospitality environment.
