Meraki Integrated Contracting is seeking a skilled QA&QC Engineer with a heavy focus on construction and structural engineering projects.
This position will report to Assistant GM-Technical.
Key Roles & Responsibilities 1.
Quality Monitoring & Control Audit, monitor, and inspect all construction activities at site Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports Evaluate site performance and recommend corrective actions Ensure implementation of Project Management and Quality Management requirements 2.
Quality Documentation & System Implementation Prepare and implement Project Quality Management System documentation Develop and maintain: Quality Manual Project Quality Plan (PQP) QA/QC Policies & Procedures Method Statements Inspection Test Plans (ITP) Activity Checklists Supervise amendments and revisions of quality documents 3.
Submittals & Technical Review Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples Prepare and review quality procedures and observations Verify contractor quality requirements in vendor documentation 4.
Inspection & Testing Coordinate consultant inspections Prepare and maintain: Work Inspection Requests (WIR) Material Inspection Reports (MIR) Concrete pour cards Maintain certificates of compliance and test reports Coordinate with third-party laboratories for cube test results 5.
Audit & Compliance Handle internal and external audits on behalf of management Document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Investigate non-conformances and ensure closure Monitor effectiveness of Quality Management System and recommend improvements 6.
Vendor & Factory Quality Assurance Conduct factory visits for material quality checks under production (as required) Ensure contractor/vendor quality compliance 7.
Coordination & Communication Coordinate with subcontractors, Civil & MEP teams, consultants, and clients Schedule and attend quality management meetings Report QA/QC activities to the Project Manager 8.
Creativity & Innovation Proactively identify opportunities to improve construction quality processes and site efficiency Develop innovative quality control methods to reduce rework and material wastage Introduce digital tools, tracking systems, and data-driven reporting techniques for better monitoring Suggest value engineering ideas while maintaining quality standards Implement preventive quality measures rather than reactive corrections Encourage continuous improvement culture within the project team Stay updated with latest construction technologies, materials, and quality practices 9.
Continuous Improvement & Training Resolve quality issues related to product, process, and personnel Provide training to site personnel Promote a “Right First Time” culture Provide technical assistance to architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders Preferred Traits: Eye for detail and accuracy.

Work Experience Minimum 4+ years of experience in Building Construction (Mid-rise & High-rise projects) Must have worked as a QA/QC Engineer in at least 1–2 residential building projects from project initiation to handover Experience in handling quality documentation, inspections, audits, and coordination with consultants Software Skills AutoCAD MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
