We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join a renowned Government Healthcare Facility.
This role is vital for providing exceptional surgical care to patients with colorectal disorders within a public health framework.
In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus.
You will utilize your surgical expertise to perform complex procedures while ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations of patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as colonoscopies and imaging studies to accurately diagnose conditions.
Manage a diverse array of colorectal issues including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign conditions.
Perform advanced surgical techniques, incorporating minimally invasive methods to enhance recovery times.
Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, managing complications and providing ongoing care as needed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient-centered care plans.
Engage in public health initiatives and community outreach to educate patients about colorectal health.
Stay abreast of advancements in colorectal surgery through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements Experience in a government healthcare setting or a strong commitment to public health.
Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
